Team Registration Click on "Join Misty's Team!" The deadline for entering as part of the Evansville Scuba Club team is September 8, 2008. Once you become a team member collect pledges via online or by using the registration form. Don't want to register on-line? No biggie! Simply fill-out the race registration form and mail it in with your payment information. Registration Form Be sure to write Evansville Scuba Club in the team name! Don't want to be a team member, but still want to give? It's easy to Donate Just click on "Support Misty!" This is a good way to promote the club and raise money for a good cause. Right now Evansville Scuba Club is #7 of 61 teams. There are two ways to support the Evansville Scuba Club in the Komen Race for the Cure: Become a team member or pledge your support. Team Member - to become a team member Click Here and click on "Join Misty's Team". What is a team member? When you click on "Join Misty's Team" there are multiple member registration types that range from $12 to $75. Becoming a team member does not mean you have to participate in the race. Although we would like as many people to be there as possible, you can still join the team through other registration types that do not include race participation. Once you become a team member of any type, all you have to do is send requests for donations to all your friends and family. You will have your own "Race Center" where you can track your donations and emails. For becoming a team member you will also receive a race t-shirt no matter which registration type you choose. The deadline to become a team member is September 8, 2008! So register today!! What if you don't want a t-shirt or don't want to ask friends and family members for donations. Just support the Evansville Scuba Club by making a donation. Donation - to donate Click Here and click on "Support Misty". It is simple, all you do is select a gift amount. There are multiple suggested levels, but you can give any amount you feel comfortable with. Donations can be taken all the way up to race day, September 21, 2008. I want to make sure everyone knows too that ALL donations are tax deductible (if you itemize deductions)!!! Why is Evansville Scuba Club doing this? First off, we want to support the fight against breast cancer! Second, we want to show our support for our community and show people who we are. Our Goal is to raise $500 but we would also like at least 15 team members, why? If we have 15 team members we qualify for team incentives and prizes. Starting August 8 the Courier & Press will publish the team statistics every Friday - but only those teams with 15 members - talk about free advertising!!! Awards are presented after the race in different team categories. We would like to win the Largest First Time Team award, but the only way we can do that is to have at least 15 team members!
