Pennyroyal Treasure Hunt

EvvScuba Since: Nov 2004 Posts: 2271 Last: 11/20/08 Cert: AOW Dives: 55	Unfortunately I'm going to miss it this year! I had a good time last year though. I won a nice dive light too! If it is anything like last year though, I highly recommend finding a golf ball fast. The vis goes to about 2' max in about 30 seconds! Most everyone dropped down at the whistle. Gary and I hauled butt on the surface and dropped down on the van. We were able to find some golf balls rather quickly that way, and before the vis went to hell. It was literally a wall of silt coming at us. It was rather freaky, and even more so when you couldn't see well. So be careful!! Jason Leave Only Bubbles, Take Only Pictures, Kill Only Time

terfmop Since: Mar 2007 Posts: 95 Last: 10/05/08 Cert: AOW Dives: 53	I'm planning on being there. I'd like to show up at 9am when the gates open and get in a pre-hunt dive. I may or may not have someone coming down with me, but Tom, would you like to buddy up for a pre-hunt dive....perhaps a post-hunt dive depending on my afternoon schedule that day.
