The events committee has picked the Mermet Dive weekend for 2008. It will be the weekend of October 11th. The event will start at 9:00 AM Saturday and end sometime Sunday afternoon.
Obviously there will be lots of diving, but we will also be camping, cooking out, and just having lots of fun. Last year was a blast!
More details will follow but we'd like everyone to mark their calendars now so we can have a great turnout!

You know, I just realized that I may have to take my ABATE course that weekend! Looking forward to taking it, but now I'm hoping I didn't get into the class that weekend!

Just change the weekend of the dive trip... I would want to get as many people to go with me and share the gas. Plus the last couple of times i have been there the Vis has sucked even in the deep end of the pool. edited by: cave243, Jul 13, 2008 - 12:19 PM |

If there's one thing I've learned while being on the events committee, it is that you can't find a time that is good for everyone. So far, the weekend of the 27th works for everyone but Misty, me and Tammy. When I start looking at our schedules, it would be October before we had another good weekend to pick. Just because I'm part of the events committee shouldn't mean I can go changing dates (that have already been picked) all willy-nilly.

Well,... I have to work on the 11th, but off that weekend. I could arrive early Sat & camp out Sat. night. The weekend of the 12th would be a "go' for me.
