Question
- What's the biggest size and preferred format that should be put on the photo section of the web page?
- What's the difference between the web site and the Evansville Scuba Club?
Answer
The preferred format is JPEG. JPEG is normally the best compressed but best quality for web photos.
Currently, the largest single file size is 250k. The actual resolution of the image can be whatever you like, but usually no larger than 800x600 is a good practice.
Anyone can join the web site, chat in the forums, and participate in our events. Only paid members of the Evansville Scuba Club, however, have access to certain sections of the web site and discounts with our business partners. The club will occasionally have free events for paid members as well (i.e., Holiday Party).
The ESC Board Members are always working on new benefits for paid members and yearly membership is only $25 for an individual!
