In attendance: Steve Owens

Committees:
MAG:
· April MAG To be this Sat. April 12th.
· Dr. Donn Slovachek to give a Presentation at the May MAG
· May even look at getting a public safety diver from Knight Township Fire Dept. to give a presentation on Public Safety Diving.
· There was encouragement for the club members to find a topic & give a presentation at future MAG’s.
Events:
· Try to get a date for a camp out at Pennyroyal sometime in June. Jason to lead.
· Try to fill calendar with dives & different activities.
Safety:
· No real action at this time. Members will just try to post tips & experiences from time to time for right now.
Membership:
· Need to keep better records on membership. For each membership payment, there will be the application & receipt. The Vice President & Treasurer will work together to keep an accurate & up to date list.
· The club will issue new cards yearly with an expiration date at the end of the membership year.
· All members need to re submit a new application. Old applications were lost.
Pavilion:
· Decided not to pursue for now. May bring back at a future date.
Committee Chairperson
· The open position was discussed.
Financial Report
· No checking account just yet. Jason to start researching.
· April- evvscuba.com domain renewal is due
· It was decided & voted on to extend this to 2 yrs to make it easier to keep up with.
· The site has had the highest # of hits to date as of the meeting.
· What bank to do the checking account? 5/3, Integra, Old National or Heritage Federal. Jason to research.
Not for Profit vs. Unincorporated Association
· Still looking into & researching
Poster Status
· Dennis needs a map & the club will prioritize our Business Partners on the map.
Instructor Membership Clause
· Free memberships offered to active instructors of our business partners
· Voted on & approved
· Clause to be added to Club Charter
Open Floor
· Pennyroyal Open House & April MAG- will club buy burgers & brats?- Done
· Pavilion at Pennyroyal?- Tabled for future discussion. Funds not available.
· President to pursue getting Signs by Design to be a business partner.
· Tammy to investigate getting our meetings, MAG’s & events in the local papers.
General chit chat & adjournment.
